How To Publish A Book On Amazon

How long does it take LULU to Publish Your book and for it to appear on Amazon?
I’ve got into writing and was advised here before to try lulu.com because it is an efficient Book Publishing service, although the costs vary based on what package you choose.
What I would like to know is, once you have submitted your work and made the payment, how long before an ‘e-version’ is available, and then how long before it would appear on Amazon?

I would like the book to appear on Amazon, would’nt all who get their works published? I have not purchased any package from lulu yet, that’s why I’m asking the question. I don’t know that anyone will buy it, but would be happy to see the physical product out there. If’s that’s vanity, so be it!

According to that page, they will automatically put your print version on Amazon “approximately 6-8 weeks after your book is approved for distribution,” if you chose the option to get an ISBN when you were Publishing Your book.
They will not put an e-version on Amazon, as far as I know. When publishing your book, you can make it available as a PDF download or an ePub, and sell it through Lulu. (The epub will eventually be available on the iBookstore, if you choose to get an ISBN for it from Lulu. And to sell an ePub, you have to create and upload the file yourself, or pay $100 or more for their epub making service). But to sell a Kindle version on Amazon, you have to submit it directly to Amazon in doc form or another form, here:

and they will turn the doc into a Kindle version and make it available immediately.
Oh, and Lulu’s page says that the free ISBN will only be available for a limited time. If you Publish Your Book too late, you may have to pay to get an ISBN and get it on Amazon. But for now, if you choose to get an ISBN while you’re publishing your book with Lulu, you automatically have this service and don’t need to pay for it. They will confuse you by still showing the option to get the service after you already have it, but that’s just a bug or something, as explained in this support thread:
